Falafels

Ingredients: 

- dryed falafel mix

- pita or torillas

- small amount of oil/margarine

- water

Instructions: 

- put dryed falafel mix in zip lock bag before trip - add water per directions and rehydrate. - add oil of your choice to frying pan - dump in rehydrated falafel mix and fry it up. (Cook it like you'd cook scrambled eggs) - wrap in tortilla or put in pita bread - add salad dressing of choice on top - enjoy.

Comments: 

Falafel mix can be found in large grocery stores or health food stores. The instructions say that it has to be made into patties and deep fried. It does not. I use single serving salad dressings I get at the grocery store as they do not have to be refrigerated. If you've got it, fry up some onions and green peppers first. Add diced tomotoes or lettuce after it is cooked if you want. No additional spices needed. You only need a very small amount of oil. This is filling.
