Pesto

Ingredients: 

1 c firmly packed fresh basil leaves

1/3 c parmesan cheese

2 tbsp pine or walnuts

1/2 tsp slat

2 cloves garlic

1/3 c olive oil veg oil added until it is a the texture you desire

2 tbsp margarine

900 g pasta

Cooking Equipment: 

blender/food processor at home pot at site

Instructions: 

Put all ingredients in blender exept of marg and past, and blend until smooth. Drizzle in veg oil until it is thick enough to toss with pasta. Cook your pasta a dente. Toss with Marg. Toss with Pesto and serve

Comments: 

Pesto travels well in a water tight container. Will keep for several days. Serve with garlic bread.
