Even in the rain, this was still a very enjoyable trip. Nice route for a long-weekend, although its quite a drive to access point 22 from the GTA region. There are multiple side routes which can be used to get to the Barron River. The above route minimizes the portage distances, but there are sections where the portages are very frequent.
