This was the worst trip. We went in early part 2005. Where we left from looked ok. But around the first bend it went downhill from there may trees were down low water. it was not a funny trip at all. Jammed with garbag and junk.
Sound like a great trip. from starting point to when we decide to get out 8 hours later 1 concession (not even 1 mile)and high tempers.

I jsut completed this route (May 18, 2009) from Rowan Mills Conservation area to Long Point. The water levels were high, and there were no log jams. There wasn't quite as much wild life as I hoped, and the trees were still a bit bare, due to the colder than average spring. By reading all of the reviews on this route, I would recommend doing this no later than the first week of June, to get the best of the water levels, and the scenery

Lynedoch to Valley Heights Secondary School @ 59 Hwy very rough, several large log jam every 100 yards or so. We suggest a CHAINSAW or a few STICKS OF DYNOMITE. Try Hwy 59 to Long Point, camp over night with a COOLER `O` BEER!!!!
Have Fun!!!!
