Special Comments:

Access is by Bradley Air - $280 in 2001

(613) 586-2374 during the season, not sure what the off-season number is now that Ron Bowes retired

Rapids C2 or less had no visible portages, some C2Tech rapids had portages and all C3 rapids and higher had well marked / well used portages.

Campsites marked as large are often taken by guided groups and are more like drive in car camping sites.

Rapid Number – Classification – Portage or CBR

Rapid Numbers correspond to Hap Wilson’s Guide and we ran them in Medium Low water where the classification was very accurate for most. Although I state that everything is CBR, we only scouted C2 Tech and higher from shore (unless there was a falls or large rapid immediately following). The diagrams in Hap’s book make running like this possible – get the book before the trip!

GREAT route. Very fun. Rapids aren't too bad. Some are quite difficult but they are do-able.
