Trip Journal/Log/Report/Diary: 

Did Gens-de-terre River in 2002 from June 21st to June 26.
Gilles Doucet, Francois Doucet, Martin Miron and David Milot. Canoeing duo in a Swift Dumoine and an Esquif Presage.
First section (25km) from Barrage Cabonga to Lake Petit Poignan is easier (intermediate), with 4 to 5 portages for 870meters. The second part in much more difficult. The section is in a canyon with difficult portages. The scenery is fantastic and the rapids very technical. Suitable for avanced paddlers only.
Many portages in this section, up to 14-17.
The campsites are specially great in for the first part. In the canyon, they are in the wood and no so good...
