Trip Journal/Log/Report/Diary:

Sunsets are beautiful over Georgian Bay. This trip is a great weekend trip. Watch weather. Preplan if the second day of your preplan trip is to be windy, start trip on the Georgian Bay side then second day paddle to Gloucester Pool. You can camp on Buena Vista Point

Special Comments:

There are areas here to park your vehicle. Check with the marina operators or Christies Mill. During your trip you will encouter a lot of Loons and on Georgian Bay there are Osprey nests. Also great small mouth fishing along the plentyful shoals. Check new regulations for Pike and Bass. This is a great route. It is within 1 1/2 hours of Toronto and for you electronic buffs, your cell phone will work.
