Route Description
Technical Guide:

The Indian river starts at the Warsaw Caves Conservation area which is about 15 minutes northeast of Peterborough on County Rd. #4 and runs about 7-10 kilometers to the small town of Warsaw Ontario and is a flat water paddle with very little current( hardly noticable)This is about a four hour paddle out and back.

Special Comments:

This is a day paddle along a river with cottages and cliffs with some wildlife such as Herons, otters, geese , ducks and turtles to be seen along the way. Water levels are very good with no low sections that need negotiating. This is a great route for Kayaks.
You can put in at the public dock which is beside the church in town ( no fee)or you can drive up to the Conservation area and pay a small 10 dollar fee and put in there.
