Route Description
Technical Guide:

Put in at Meadow beach in the campground (NATL Park) and paddle south around Indian point. Follow the West shore of Indian point North West until you reach the picnic area on the west shore of the point. From there head directly across the lake (about 2 kms) and arrive at the other side south of Forrest island. from there folow the west shore of Keji lake north-west to the mouth of the West river. This is surrounded by a boggy area. Head up the river to campsites 21 and 22. When water levels are high you may be able to go several kms further upstream. From there head back out to Keji lake along the same route. Head North-east along the shore to portage "W" where indian point meets the shore. Follow this fairly level graveley path to Jeremeys bay and return to the parking lot at Meadow beach.

Special Comments:

Head out early, before 8:30 am as the winds can pick up later in the day (12:00 or so). The waves can be large enough to swamp a canoe and even small boats. Following the shoreline will help reduce the risk of large waves (depending on wind direction).
An alternate route could start from Jakes landing and return to the same.
