Paddled Kennedy Lake back in May. Some crappy weather aside the trip was great -- the portage trails were pretty well marked and relatively easy hiking. The road in was a little dicey, so a truck or something with a bit of ground clearance wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. There is only one campsite at the north end of Kennedy Lake -- see map -- and it was occupied so we had to make due with a sloped site at the mouth of Lake Brook. It was nice to do a lake trip at home here in NB and not have to worry about water levels...etc. I would definitely consider adding this one to your repertoire -- I definitely plan on going back/further. If you do it later in the summer/fall, I'd be interested in hearing what it's like.
