Soon after the start, path gover up the steep rock. At that moment false path departs to the right. It is easy to overlook main path (straight up the rock) and continue on the false path to the right. False path soon splits into two and both these paths end there.

135.2 Approach to Fish Ladder waterfall. There are portages on both sides of the river. Portage on the river left is apparently bit shorter and not as steep, however, portage of river rigth is more interesting because it is possible to view Fish Ladder from there. Portage on river right is 899m long and starts at (689458 5663649) and ends at (698182 5662921). There is a camp Katchapahun on the trail, at (689189 5663131). From there starts 201m long trail to Fish Ladder (689357 5663201).
