Rain Lake Park Access
Northwesterly along the Petawawa River system, through Misty, White Trout, Big Trout, Burntroot, Catfish and Cedar Lakes and smaller associated lakes.

Trip Journal/Log/Report/Diary:

* Mostly cold meals (except Supper) to facilitate fast travel.
* Arising at 3:00 am to beat the wind facilitates travel. Then it was dawn to dusk.
* I used the public phone at the Brent store in 1992 to arrange a ride home. It is no longer functional. There is no cell phone service. Prearrange a pick-up OR arrange to use the Satellite Phone at the Brent Store as I did.

Special Comments:

Great Route. Much variety.
All downstream, with luck westerly winds may push you along. 4-5 days should suffice; I've done it solo in 3 days 20 hours. A very
"doable" Park "crossing"
