Access to Put-In Information: 

Road access to put in; road access to take out near bottom of lake.

Technical Guide: 

Put in on the R. Pekans (on the road to Fremont); down the Pekans, up the R. Grasse, carry into the Marguerite. Nice easy whitewater run down to the 200-Km-long lake fromed by the SM-3 dam. Paddle the lake down to a boat ramp a few Km above the dam. Take out there. There is no river-level water coming out below the dam.

Special Comments: 

The 200 Km lake is not a great paddle. Campsites are pretty hard to find. This is a recently-made lake and is not so attractive. I would not recommend a trip wich included paddling the lake.
