Trip Journal/Log/Report/Diary:
Day 1: Departed Round Lake at 7:30am and headed west through Amble du Fond and into North Tea. Worked my way into Biggar by 1:00. Entered Loughrin Creek at 1:30 and got to the campsit on the creek at 4:00ish. The 2000 m portage was difficult. I was the first person through. There were blow downs every where. What should have taken 45min, took 1 1/2 hrs.
Day 2: Departed Loughrin Creek and worked through the maze. Arrived at the Birchcliffe Cabin around 1:00. Nice shorter day.
Day 3: Departed the Cabin and enter Birchcliffe Creek at 6:30. After a few beaver dams and blowdowns, I arrived at Bigger at 9:30. I would not want to venture up the creek solo or later in the year. The saw 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 hours up creek is not uncommon. Worked my way through to N. Tea and staied at the mouth of the river. Arrived at 3:00.
Day 4: Departed at 6:30 am and was at the Access point at 8:30.
