Content. Both Inland and Coastal Routes.
Clockwise sort of the six Subregions.
The coasts and drainage basins (aka watersheds) of Bonavista Bay, Trinity Bay, Conception Bay, east coast of the Avalon Peninsula, Trepassey Bay, St Mary’s Bay (including Holyrood Bay).
Route and Information entries are filed in alphabetical order within each subregion.
Ed note: In deference to Kayak Newfoundland and Labrador, which uses a separate region for the Avalon Peninsula, I separate Avalon Routes (both Inland and Coastal) from others in the East region.


Inland Routes, East region

Northwest River. Information.
This is the Northwest River that runs more or less parallel to, but south of, the Terra Nova River; it flows into Bonavista Bay north of Port Blandford. It is not the Northwest River that flows into Bonavista Bay near Centreville, and by no means North West River, a settlement in Labrador.
No other information was found on the web.

1. The only Endless Lake listed at Toporama is in Ontario.
2. Toporama does not list “Ninety-Nine Island Pond”, or “Ninety Nile Island Pond”, or “Ninety-Nine” anything, or “Ninety Nine” anything.)
3. Northwest Pond (one of ~30 such listed by Toporama in NL) is about 7 km upstream from the mouth.

Coastal Routes, East region.

Caution.
Those of us with a background in lake and river paddling, even those comfortable in big water, might reflect on whether we possess the knowledge, equipment and skills necessary to deal with the very different hazards associated with coastal paddling. A course or a guided trip might be a good idea before attempting any of the coastal Routes described in the links given below.
From what I've read, every responsible paddler carries a VHF radio and is well versed in its operation.
