Inclusions.
All waters of Quetico Provincial Park,
plus, to the east, an ill-defined area including La Verendrye Provincial Park, the Northern Light Lake area and Pigeon River Provincial Park,
plus, to the west, waters entering Rainy Lake via the Namakan River (mostly travelled as continuations of Routes starting within the Park).

Exclusions.
Atikokan River, Mercutio River, Pipestone River, Rainy River, Seine River, Turtle River, etc.
Caliper Lake, Lac des Milles Lacs, Marmion Lake, etc.
Corresponding Routes are filed in the region Northwest.

Note. Many reports quote portage distances in rods; for those unfamiliar with (dare I say) the Imperial system, 1 rod = 5 metres (to within 1%), about the length of a canoe.
