Does anybody know how busy the high falls area usually is during the last week of September?

I know that the Highway 60 corridor is insane ones the leaves start to change but is the High Falls area just as bad or is it far enough from Toronto to avoid the crowds?

We were just there this past weekend and it wasn't too busy. We did see other people throughout the length of our trip but it was also Labour Day weekend.

I have a trip booked there for next weekend, and the backcountry on Kingscote Lake and High Falls is already fully booked. Word is that Algonquin is expecting their busiest fall ever, because of uncertainty around school openings and other COVID-related issues.

Book early if you're planning to go anywhere in APP this year.

I guess an issue with this thread, is that there are at least five different "High Falls" in Algonquin -- Barron River, Bonnechere River, Nipissing River, York River and top of Carcajou Bay on Grand Lake. There may be more.
