View topic - N Sask River Crossing to Abraham Lake

Can anyone comment on this section of river. Will be paddling this section Aug 1 2014 on route to The Pas Manitoba.

Looking for 1) difficulty of whitewater and 2) water levels in August.

I've never paddled it but I've heard there's at least one falls.

I have not paddled this reach but perhaps someone who has can help out. If not...

Duration of Tour – 52 km – 2 days
Classification
1. Rapids: one Class V to VI, with a good portage trail and then another good portage trail around the next rapid, a Class III+ and then some Class II water above Whirlpool Point.
2. Skill of Paddlers: Intermediate River
