The SK government's reports, for example
http://www.tpcs.gov.sk.ca/canoe1 ,
refer to the Historic Trails Canoe Club as having reviewed (in 1989) scripts written by Peter Gregg.
Is this club still active?
Is there a possible tie-in with CCR's Lost Canoe Routes Forum?
I ask because I know of one province where the logging rules change if it can be demonstrated that there is/was a portage around a rapid/fall.
Note: Historic canoe routes are not necessarily lost canoe routes; the Churchill is an excellent example.
But there might be an opportunity for cooperation to benefit the paddling community.
