The present Routes folders for filing SK trip reports are highly inconvenient and we are in the process of deciding new ones. Reminder: SK trip reports come in several forms: posts in Routes, posts in the SK Forum, the SK gov't (aka Peter Gregg) reports, posts at external sites, etc.
Here's where we are at the moment. Thanks to anonymous and Laurel for their advice.
Northern: north of the Churchill River watershed. Geikie, Fond du Lac, Chipman, Porcupine, Clearwater, Cree, Carswell, William, MacFarlane, Waterfound, Cochrane (even though it is a Churchill tributary), ...
Churchill: Churchill River watershed. Beaver, Waterhen, Mudjatik, Haultain, Montreal, Rapid, Foster, Paull, Reindeer, Nemei, Wathaman, .... This folder will have a lot of entries and it may be desirable to split it. One possibility is the Churchill proper, northern tributaries, southern tributaries. Lac La Ronge Provincial Park: 3,445 square km (Algonquin PP in Ontario, with 7,630 square km, has its own folder) and highly popular with paddlers.
Saskatchewan: Saskatchewan River watershed. North Saskatchewan, South Saskatchewan, Torch, Sturgeon-weir, Goose, ...
Southern: south of the Saskatchewan River watershed; Assiniboine, Souris, Qu'Appelle, ...
We welcome your comments.
