Athapapuskow Lake section.

Contents.
Athapapuskow Lake, Goose Lake, Goose River, Kississing River and Kississing Lake, Mistik Creek, Pineroot River.

Athapapuskow Lake. Information.
On the south side, its waters flow (via Goose Lake and the Goose River) into the Sturgeon-weir River, thus providing access both to the Churchill River (via upstream travel to the Frog Portage) and also to the Saskatchewan River (via downstream travel).
On the north side, a series of portages connects it (via the Kississing River) to the Churchill River at Flatrock Lake (between Pawistik and Highrock Lake).
On the east side, the Cranberry Portage connects it to the Grass River and so to the Nelson River.
