View topic - Parking near Winnipeg Airport

We're planning to fly out of Winnipeg for our Kazan River trip this summer. The cheapest rate the airport parking facility has for the planned duration of our trip is $450. Does anyone have a suggestion for a less expensive long-term parking option near the Winnipeg airport?

Are you staying at a hotel pre and post your flights out of Wpg? If so, I'd inquire if you can park there and use the hotel airport shuttle.

Yeah hotels can be good if you are staying there on the way in or out.

I've also found long term parking through Kijiji

Yes, we checked out the myairpark.ca website. That's how we ended up getting the quote for $450.

Since that time, we found a much better price for parking by staying at the Hilton. If we stay at the Hilton the night before departure, we get one week of free parking, then it's $45 per week after that. For a six week trip, that will cut the price of parking about in half. I'm much happier now.

Or maybe a friendly paddler would like to meet you at the airport, store your car on their driveway for the duration then meet you at the airport on your return?

Would likely cost you the price of a good bottle of whisky.
