Rivière Mistassibi and Rivière Mistassibi Nord-Est. Information.
The Rivière Mistassibi runs generally southward, flowing into the Rivière Mistassini at Mistassini/Dolbeau, a few km above the Mistassini’s mouth at Lac Saint-Jean. It is occasionally referred to as the Rivière Mistassibi Nord-Ouest, presumably to distinguish it from the Rivière Mistassibi Nord-Est, a major tributary.
