My wife surprised me with a wedding anniversary out kayak camping. It was a great location to introduce her to the wild. Some creature comforts but overall a really beautiful place!

Location: Merrickville, Ontario, Canada
It is a very nice lake. I took some kids canoe camping up there last summer. We found an island to camp on. Swimming was great. Beautiful rocks for jumping off both on our island and at another cliff. Also did some rock climbing.

I have heard that motorboat traffic can be bad at times, though we didn't have any problems.
