Just back from a pleasant 4 days on the Lievre with Sam82.

Mostly hot and sunny without a trace of precipitation.

Bugs were quite modest, a few mosquito's at sunset and the odd blackfly.

Water levels were the lowest I've seen at about 45cms. More rocks to avoid and a little bumpier than at preferred levels (80 - 120cms). Still the fact the river was dredged in the distant past meant there was always a deep water route. At these levels it would be an excellent training run for paddlers moving up from easy CI/II to more technical CIII's. Those looking for heart pounding thrills would probably be disappointed.
