Its pic heavy.. and I am not inclined to resize the photos to post here so If you are interested in a little jaunt on Circuit 30, its here.

I wish this site was more pic friendly..other sites don't require resizing. That's my rant and wish for this evening..

Great trip report Littlered. I loved the pictures. How would you rate this circuit? Would you consider doing it again? I plan on doing it this friday

You can launch at Grand Barrage and do the four ports into Canamina easy in one day. Then to Nichcotea in another day.

Paddle hard up Grand and you can be out the last day (Sunday). But I don't regret tarrying and exploring Grand.

I rate it as a failure for me. not on its part as it did not meet my expections, because I wanted to link to another route. The failure was my part. My hands were just too bleeding for me to do the rest of the intended route up through Nicobyzard and Byrd. I have no idea why my fingertips dried so much. Now that I am home in the land of incessant rain the fingers are healed.

You can be in on Fri and out late Sun unless you dither. The far end of Lac Myon is not a friendly ( to me )unloading spot. Yes you will live, and if you have tips to make unloading in a bog easier please feel free to share!

Yeah, it's happening to me more and more as the years go by. I think the main culprit is the sun. I dab on a little sunscreen when I think of it, and some Bag Balm before bed helps.

Wimp out, LRC, and wear paddling gloves.
My personal finding is that split finger tips come more from cold water than from the sun.
