I was on the Batiscan this summer with canoes. The second of the "narrow" rapids out of Pearl Lake seemed a bit more difficult than C2. There was a blue canoe broken in half on river left at the start of the rapid (was it there when you were?). I couldn't find a portage trail at that rapid either....

We didn't see any canoe. In fact, if I remember correctly that second drop was clogged with wood and we portaged on the rocks on RL.
