Well done! That is one long portage. A good thing that you only had gear for a day trip. It would be a long day if you had to double or triple carry that one.

You're correct, had that Portage been part of a larger trip it likely would be quite a challenge to complete it in a day! The sole purpose of this trip was the Portage trail itself and therefore I packed accordingly.
