The Hiukitak is on the bucket list and we might get to it this summer. I was wondering if any one has any info on it. The only trip report reference I can find here has a link that no longer works. This wll be another pricey trip but if the country is any thing like the Ellice, it will be worth every penny we spend. It will start on the Ellice to maximize the time out there. I know I have get off my butt and finsh the trip report on the Ellice (2007), but life gets rather busy at times.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've been trying to track down Rich and Wendy, the authors of that report.
All such efforts have failed so maybe I should remove that entry.
On the other hand, my recollection is that the TR contained little if any more detail than reported in the route description I wrote.
It sure looks like an interesting trip though.

Doug, Allan-

Rich and Wendy also wrote that trip up in Nastawgan - Spring 2001 - but unfortunately, that edition doesn't seem to be in the on-line Nastawgan archive.

Doug, if you can't get an electronic version somewhere, send me a PM. I could mail you a xerox copy, or scan it and e-mail it, whichever would suit you.
