Two weeks ago I paddled around Philip Edward Island. The scenery was amazing and I'm already looking forward to paddling there again next year!

Looks like a beautiful spot for canoeing. Nice pictures.

Some of your shots show some fairly rough water and your canoe looked pretty loaded down. Did you have any concerns regarding swamping/swimming? I know I would have been in my pfd. Hope you had yours handy.

Hi Dave,

The first couple of days the weather was perfect, but then it became very windy; indeed, we did have a couple of close calls! We were almost forced by the weather to camp on three of the campsites and they were below average--one was even on an Indian Reserve. Of course, we did have our PFDs handy--but some people, as you can see, don't like wearing them too much! :wink:
