Drove up to Algonquin for the evening in hopes of seeing the northern lights as well as to do some astrophotography with my skytracker. Lucked out with clear skies and an aurora display. Also took many images of the Orion Nebula which I stacked for a cleaner image. Here is a little video of the day.

Thank you! With deep space astrophotography I always feel you come back less images as each one takes so many exposures and so much time to get a clean image. Worth it though! I really enjoy just looking up at the stars while the camera does its thing.

Dude...that was awesome. And yes, any tutorial on imagery would be greatly appreciated. I purchsed a Nikon AW130 and a Samsung A5 just for the oppurtunity to take some night time shots, so any tips would be helpful. Not the greatest camera and/or phone but both were a big step up for me.
