In the current issue of "WoodenBoat" magazine (#182), there is an article about Sir Frederick Bantings, 1927 sealskin covered kayak (pg. 16).

The Canadian Conservaton Institute (of the Canadian Heritage Department) is in the process of restoring the kayak.

Interesting article for those interested in historical boats and their restoration.

All the best,
Doug
