Hi folks

I managed to find a few minutes to log in and do some stuff, but that is a rare occurrence for now.

It's just not possible for me to spend any time on CCR at this time, or the foreseeable future.

Sorry for leaving Marilyn and the forum members like this, but it's unavoidable.

Hope you all have a great summer. Maybe I'll be able to spend time with you all again some time soon.

Barbara

Barbara, the wry sense of humour with which you package many of your on-line contributions to the forum will be missed. Thanks for your work on the forum - you are one stern paddler!

Keep on gettin' out of bed and dealing with what needs to be done!

Barbara, thank you for all the work you've done to maintain this forum and to help make it the wonderful resource and meeting place that it is. Your contribution is much appreciated. Best wishes.

Although I don't post any more and only read, I will miss you Barbara.

Take care of what is needed and I wish you all the best.

Dave

There would be no CCR today without Barbara.
I refer to the situation in mid 2007, when spammers filled the site with hundreds of thousands of posts containing the foulest material imaginable.
Barbara, together with Marilyn, led the cleanup.
To her belongs the Medal for Distinguished Service to the paddling community, should there be one, and there should.

BRAVA! and thanks.

Allan
