Currently on an solo overnight trip in Massassauga. That is all I have time for right now.
Cell servkce is obviously very good.
All the chores are done.
I am enjoying a good cigar and a very good bottle of wine.
It is perfectly quiet...I love being able to hear the whistle of a bird's wings as one flies overhead.
There are virtually no bugs.
As I type it is just starting towards dusk and I am watching the far shore as the colours slowly fade in the gloaming.
Life is damn near perfect.
That's all.
Just wanted to share and to remind you that life is short. Go out and enjoy it.

Nice real time trip report. Sounds like a beautiful time. What kind of cigar are you having?
I managed to get out on a trip up to Kukagami two weeks ago, and my favourite part of the trip was in the evening, after having cleared up from a day of solid rain, was perfectly clear without even a single ripple on the water. The reflection of the forest in the water was the clearest I've seen like that. It was a perfect mirror reflection. The hush that came over the lake, forest and general area made it super peaceful. And best of all, barely a single bug came out. Nights like these make the hard work we put in to get to our destinations so worth it.
Anyways, enjoy the rest of you trip!
