Friends, your help is requested.

World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF Canada) reached out to me last week with plea for help in locating folks that have good quality, high resolution landscape pictures, with or without species, that they would use on social media and potentially in media stories. I was given to understand that WWF doesn't have a budget for purchasing photos at the moment, so they're looking for donations. They'll of course give a credit to the photographer in any use of their photo.

The list of rivers:

Liard
Dubawnt
Thelon
Kazan
Horton
Anderson
Taltson
Stikine
Ekiwan
Birch

Send your submissions to Rebecca Spring rspring@wwfcanada.org

Thanks, Aleks

No trolling on my part , just sharing some info I came across a while back on paid salaries @WWF Canada

https://nofrakkingconsensus.com/2012/03/28/the-enormous-ceo-salaries-behind-earth-hour/

Down at the bottom of the page they talk about some serious coin being paid out in Canada yearly
and somehow they have no budget to pay for images

Happy Holidays ...... Vin

I don't trust the WWF.
They twist the truth to their ideals all the time, not science based research.
Not an organization I'd help.
That being said it is good to help reputable NGO's any way we can, watch your pennies and the dollars will follow.
Happy Paddling.

This must be connected to the recently released WWF report WILD AND FREE-FLOWING RIVERS: IDENTIFYING AND PROTECTING CANADA’S WILD RIVERS

@vinman while I disagree with what CEOs get paid, singling out NGOs doesn't make sense to me. Your link may not be meant as a troll but it reads as a deterrent to those who opened this thread interested in submitting their pictures.

@Donomemee I personally don't support the WWF because I choose to support organisations with a more local reach. That being said, if their cause is protecting rivers that I believe should be protected, I wouldn't hesitate to support them with photos.

I hope people do think twice before donating at any time - their personal photos maybe even more so than money - but maybe they should spend more time reading Brian's links than about CEO salaries and the parent organisation's practices.
