I had a business trip to Toronto this week and since it was march break I decided to take my 14 and 16 year olds and set them loose on the Toronto subway for an adventure while I was at the office. We drove down in our family vehicle and part of the plan was to drive back to Ottawa along the "milk run" through Peterborough to visit the canoe museum. I was a bit hesitant on whether or not the kids would enjoy it but indeed they did and in the end I had to pull them out so we could head to Ottawa.
Here is my blog on the visit with a link to all my pictures. I'll follow up in the next few days with a video once I get the editing done. In short it was definitely worth the trip.
As I point out in the blog entry, there is a huge need to spice up the exterior of that place. It is pretty ghetto and when you drive up it feels like an abandoned building. I was actually expecting to find it closed.
