Wonderful picture! Many a pretrip meeting and post-trip reviews and chats took place on that porch at 'chez Cotton's" place. The guy not only researched the routes and outfitted the trips; he turned his home into a bunkhouse and chow-hall for canoe enthusiasts from near and far. Great memories.

OK, I missed that. Still, a wonderful picture of Phil. I think I remember that time when the Thunder Bay CBC reporter came by and interviewed Phil, Cary, and some others.
