Hello,

I posted my Paluski Fastwater 16ft canoe online, along with 4 paddles, 2 life jackets, a safety kit and a mounting kit.

I posted it for $500 and it quickly went to $575 in about 4 hours so I think priced too low.

It's scratched on the bottom but the inside looks new!

What should I be putting it up for?

Many thanks,
Oliver

Need more details - what is it made of and do you have some pictures.

But it is a hot market for canoes right now so they are selling higher.

Looks like $1000 would have been better .

Can't you be happy getting more than what you asked for?

Otherwise, maybe the person that buys it might return it when it's not what they thought it should be.

It seems shady that you don't sell it for the original price.

Remind buyers that it's a 75 to 80 lbs poly boat. Anybody that knows canoes won't pay above 500$ for any poly hull.

If I were you, I'd be ecstatic that you got what you got, because in other years, that boat would have sat in your yard for a month or so before you lowered the price or someone came and offered you $300 for it.

this boat?
https://www.adventureoutfitters.ca/prod ... uski-boats

assuming it looks somewhat new until flipped over, and scratches can be counted up in 20 seconds,
and scratches are the worst of the issues,
and scratches are not going through the layers (i.e., different colors) of the material,

i think $800 would be feasible with all the addins.
