Due to the logistics of selling our house, we may need to skip one of our annual Quebec trips, as we also need to make a visit to the in-laws in northern Georgia. Perhaps we could salvage a trip on the way? Obviously the experience would be vastly different than Quebec, but maybe an option exists? Looking for a river trip, 4-10 days (we're exploring all options!), preferably some white water to Class 3, portaging anything more. Are there options? Off the top of my head...the New River? Are there other good sites for research out there? I'm cheating here before I go explore the web on my own.
Thanks,
Dave
PS - we don't want to go south of Atlanta, although I understand there are good options down there...
