Saw this today and I thought our community could get involved.
A great idea if you got kids or and outdoor group.
And Heaven knows trying to get the information of what I find out to the right people is a pain in the ..... :o

The pairing of people spending time in the wilderness willing to do some simple research and data collection during their trip to help scientists that need the field study done.

It might be a little extra work on the part of these people to get the data but they can return with a lot of good field info for some scientists that can't afford to send in a dedicated field group because of budget cuts.

Looks like a program that allows regular people to get involved and be an important part of the scientific research.

An very interesting concept.

I like it.
