View topic - Is Jeff's Map dead (again)?

I was at World of Maps here in Ottawa a couple of hours ago looking for an Algonquin South map, and they had no Jeff's in stock. I know a couple of months ago they had a few at least. I asked the guy about it and said they are out of business - that he'd been trying to contact them for several weeks and they were not getting back to him.

MEC's website lists the 2nd edition souther map as "Coming Soon - Preorder". Algonquin Central is lists as in stock, and the other 2 out of stock.

I went in to MEC and they had a whole slew of the Algonquin Central maps, but none of the other maps. They also had some of the other Jeff's in stock. I did not ask anyone about it though.

The guy who took over is not delivering maps. Its a shame. Try to find one somewhere, download online or wait for Jeff to deliver a new series from his new company.

Well I knew there was a year or something where he was off radar, but then he made the big facebook post apologizing to everyone and saying that he was getting things back on track. And after that I am pretty sure maps did ship. But that post was back at the beginning of April which is 5 months ago.

Yes, it is a shame. I'm really looking forward to more coverage from Unlostify.

I am waiting for Unlostify to come out with Algonquin maps as well. I still have some old Jeffs.
You can still go on line and bring up the entire Algonquin map in the old Jeffs format and just print screen the section you don't have and laminate it as a temporary measure until the new ones come out to purchase.
