The sooner you buy it , the more they know then we're coming and how many of us will be stopping short of the full train route.

I'm sure they have an inkling already!

Well I at least hope they do?!

( had my ticket a little while now....)

:D

There's no price advantage to buying early is there? The last few years I just bought at the train station.

No advantage on price unless you claim your my age. I get 10% off or something like that.
The advantage is that VIA knows to put on the baggage car. Remember the year they didn't and we had the Boggan on the seats.
At least that is the theory. :-?

Stay safe

Kevin you save a bit if you can buy supersaver tickets. I think they are about 30% of capacity. Also I have found it cheaper if you buy the ticket at least a week in advance. But the difference is only a couple bucks maybe five.

So many DF threads I don't know where to put this one.

But looks like we're gonna get some good snow this week. EC says 15-20cm tomorrow, and 1-3cm everyday throughout the week, then another >10cm on Friday!

Should be GrrrEAT!! Course maybe now I should go in on Tuesday for an already packed trail lol Ah just kidding, I am gonna be there for the whole time, breaking trail if I have to!

Looking good for better water levels in Ontario this year!

Snow is good. Thanks Swift, that is a great information.

I was thinking of going on Thursday, 2 days before everybody else, break the trail, enjoy 2 days of quiet time…and wait for the first group on Saturday.
Maybe next year…

They are forecasting very warm temperatures with rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Too bad, but I guess it might settle the snow somewhat and make travel easier.
