It may not be "fresh" outside any more but it is garage sale season
Last week I picked up a nearly new piece of gear.
I will get a pick of it, but it is a elongated tubular suitcase approx 6' long with a dia. when it's packed approx 18"
It will fit well right on top of the sled!
And for 10 bucks
Also don't forget to check out baseball equipment and golf travel bags.
Tis the season

Good find!
18" x 6' sounds perfect.
What was it originally?
I've built my own but it lacks workmanship.
Did you buy me one? :D

cheers Ted

It is some weird type of suit case...
Weird yes,
and I could not find a mfg. label on it.
Was made in China.
The one half has 2 wheels, and a hard plastic bottom, the other half is sponge covered by nylon.
Has 2 good sized pockets on the one half either side.
When I saw it from the street I thought is was one of those golf bag ones, and was surprised when it wasn't,
Drove away, got about 200m down the rd, 2nd sober thought said where else would I find something like this... and I went back.

Sounds like it's the duffel with the sled built-in! And with the wheels, maybe it's a multi-season unit?
