This is a suprise. A bit of a bureaucratic over reation maybe. We can argue about its effectiveness, but I liked using it at the end of the day after dinner and the evening swim so that I wouldn't be covered in DEET for the rest of the evening. I think its just stupid.

From the article DEET has been seemed by the Feds as safe when used as directed

Ergo they concluded that citronella is not safe because it could be ingested. By some um idiot?

And DEET can't be ingested?

Let's compare to the same standards!!

That's the same link I used in my original post.

I don't know how the laws work, but since it is still avaliable in the US, what are the laws about mail ordering some from the States?
