The most amazing clouds moved in while we were hiking in the Adirondacks this weekend.

Lenticular in the second pic it looks like. We see them occasionally looking like flying saucers over the Presidential Range.

Mountain skies are always neat

Not sure. Let's call em smear clouds. They are way prettier than the chocolate smears that TV chefs use on their plate that look like squashed poop.

It could be another form of lenticular cloud.
