I have paddled one a few times, and it has been by far the best full sized tandem canoe for white water I have paddled. It almost feels like cheating compared to my Hellman Prospector. ![]() It is high on my list of things to buy. The wifey insists I finish my solo stripper first though. ![]() |

I have two new ones here that can be outfitted with Mike Yee outfitting. There is also a New Pocket Canyon here. |

Has esquif dropped the beluga line? Or are you just partial to mikey's stuff? |

I can do factory outfitting with two options regular which is like North Water or their Deluxe which like is Mike Yee's. But that's with boat brought in like that from the factory. Or for un-outfitted I do Mike Yee's mike here. Its just different options. The outfitting in the vid is factory deluxe. |

I have been watching for a good used Canyon for nearly a year now around here, and have yet to see one. Might end up going new possibly. I would definitely want it outfitting to some degree for whitewater use. Until then, renting one locally will have to suffice. |

For those of you who asked if anyone has a Canyon for sale, My husband and I own an Esquif Canyon which we love but must sell. It was factory outfitted (North Water) for tandem whitewater and comes with Beluga floatation bags. Ad posted April 12, 2013 on Kijiji Peterborough. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId= ... 02ffffbc1d Canyon sold... Thanks and Happy Trails. |

Too bad you were not nearer Calgary. I would love to take it off your hands. Shipping would be a killer though. |

I purchased a 300 lb used wood lathe in Ottawa last year and shipped it to Edmonton on a pallet using a company called Fastfrate for a shipping cost of $170 and less than about one week shipping time. May be worthwhile giving them a call. |

Hmmm....I did expect it to be more than that. My wife just had a bunch of stuff shipped from Ottawa when her dad moved out of his house, and though not sure what it cost, but it was way more than that. Though, a canoe is not really all that heavy. |

Just curious if anyone has paddled a pocket Canyon and a Merganser and how they compare. Alan, if that is their company video, they need to fire their agency or get one. As a former commercial director, I could and have done better for the cost of a boat. |
