I took this trip in the middle of August and although it's a four day trip in my video, it could probably be done in two and a half or three. I'm guessing the majority of visitors to this forum are from Ontario, so this scenery might look different to you. Let me know, I don't know if you have anything similar over there. |

Well, I pushed off at about 11:30 or noon on a Monday, and got to Saskatoon at 8PM on Thursday. So it was a bit over 80 hours I guess. On the weekend I noticed on Instagram that a party of 30 or more SUP types did the same trip in three days having started the Thursday I got to Saskatoon. I have no doubt that that is possible; I only paddled for about five or six hours the second day. It was 35*C with no clouds and no shade anywhere. I propped up my paddles in the sand and hung a tarp over them, then ducked in that shade for the rest of the day. Sand cools fast in the shade thankfully. Thanks for watching! |
