Anyone done Cariboo River Provincial Park?
Thinking of dropping in at the 3100 rd bridge and maybe 2 or 3 days down to Cariboo Lake. The fishing must be great, I think it must be lot of wildlife and remote in there. Can't seem to find any real info on it though.

Hi Mark, I've done preliminary research on this route. It appears that it can be done in one long day, or better yet, two. Mellow river, perhaps a Class 2 in spots but mostly a Class 1 depending on time of year. I'm still doing research so I'll post if I find out anything more.

Hi Mark, after looking at the maps and photos, I don't know how remote this is. Lots of logging roads on the maps, and lots of clear cuts in the photos, though the clear cuts are limited to the surrounding hills. It might have good fishing, and a nice two day trip, but beyond that I think its a fairly well-traveled area.
