Hello Saskatchewan canoeist and others that have been here.
Being fairly new to canoeing but a very experienced backpacker what is the first thing that I do?
Go looking for maps. And how many did I find for Saskatchewan?
Not many.
So I read the Saskatchewan Documented Canoe routes which are good but are some 25 years old.
So some more googling and I came across Jeff's Map and thought why not for Saskatchewan!
So a Sunday on the computer here is what I have started with, thanks to one of Ralph's trip report for the campsites.

So information that I'm looking for is campsites, beaver dams, points of interest and any other tidbits. GPS coordinates are best of campsites and beaver dams but maps grid will work also.
I am hoping to be able to keep the maps in the scale between 28000 and 32000.
The plan is as with Jeff's Maps is to have them freely available to download in different formats as well as having a paid printed version.
Suggestions, comments are very welcome
John
