I am planning to visit Algonquin provincial park next week and will have few days in hand, so was looking for a best lake with fall views and fishing and I will be taking Canoe lake entry point.

Do you want to head north or south? Or perhaps down the Oxtongue?

A quick look at the reservations map shows most interior campsites available Sept 28 north of Canoe l... you'll probably be able to go anywhere you want and not see many others, except on weekends. Burnt Island Lake is surrounded by sugar maples much more than the T Thomson area so I'd head to BIL for the long views and fall color. Lots of campsite choice there, maybe you can find one with both sunset and sunrise visible. BIL is a lake trout and smallmouth bass lake so trolling the shorelines over long distances might produce something, depending on surface temps. .
